St George Illawarra Dragons, ‘heated exchange’ involving Mikaele Ravalawa and Zane Musgrove, Charity Shield, Mudgee
The Dragons players in a heated exchange after a night out at the weekend were winger Mikaele Ravalawa and new recruit Zane Musgrove, The Sydney Morning Herald has revealed.
Players enjoyed a pre-scheduled night out in Mudgee after their 42-24 Charity Shield loss to the Rabbitohs on Saturday, before a scuffle broke out at the team hotel at 6am on Sunday.
The Dragons insist there were no punches thrown between the players, but the behaviour, according to the Dragons, did not meet the club’s standards.

The club allowed the players to go out and drink because of the long turnaround between their final pre-season game and round two, with the Dragons set for an opening-round bye.
“The Dragons are aware of a verbal argument that took place between two players at the team hotel on Sunday morning,” a club statement read.
“The club regards this behaviour as unacceptable and will now determine whether any disciplinary action is warranted.
“The club will make no further comment at this time.”
